  6. Now, restore the Portable by opening QuickBooks Desktop.
  7. If the file is not opening, rename the extension to .qbb.
  8. Open QuickBooks Desktop and restore the Backup.
  9. If the file does not open, rename the extension to .qbx.

Copy the company file into another folder in Flash drive

  1. Open the Windows Explorer with opening QuickBooks Desktop.
  2. Open C:\ drive and go to the “File” option.
  3. Right-click and click on the New Folder.
  4. Now, copy the “Companyfile.QBW” from Flash drive into the new folder.
  5. Finally, open QuickBooks Desktop and open a new folder.
